MARINE SALVAGE & COMMERCIAL DIVING OPERATIONS

THALASSA HOLDINGS teams provided Marine Salvage and Commercial Diving Services to a leading global company specializing in reliable and cost-effective waste management and marine pollution response.

The operation presented significant challenges, as it involved a container ship that had sunk in 280m water depth after catching fire.

On-site operations included:

• ROV inspection of the wreck

• Oil spill response measures

• Recovery of floating containers adrift at sea or grounded on reefs, using floating crane barges and tugboats

All works were completed to the satisfaction of the Client and the Underwriter’s Representative.
