THALASSA HOLDINGS provided Marine and Commercial Diving Services to one of our AHTS vessels, dedicated to Emergency Response operations, including Marine Salvage, Towage, Wreck Removal, and Oil Spill Response—always prioritizing the protection of the Marine Environment, Property, and Life at Sea.
The scope of work included an in-water survey and hull repairs.
On-site operations comprised sealing the double sea chest grating for fire suction using a wooden sheet plug with rubber, and wet welding screw dogs to secure the plugs against the hull plating, enabling the replacement of a defective internal valve in the engine room.
All work was completed to the satisfaction of the Client and Class Surveyor.
